With over 26 years in education in primary, secondary and tertiary settings as a teacher, lecturer, tertiary supervisor, consultant and specialist here in Australia and New Zealand, Amanda has experience and knowledge to assist those with reading difficulties and disabilities.

Amanda has completed 5 university degrees in education with her research into working memory and reading resulting in the RIP IT UP Reading Program. She is currently completing her 6th degree of a Master in Social Work. Amanda is called on to present at conferences, seminars and organisations on the importance of memory to the reading process.
Newcastle University Students
Our centre, for over 10 years, has given dozens of Newcastle University students in education and speech pathology experience in working with individuals with reading difficulties and disabilities. Our students find their time with the RIP IT UP Reading Centre to be incredibly rewarding and valuable to their studies. All of our past students have gained successful and long term employment.
